Car Culture HQ is committed to making our automotive community platform accessible to enthusiasts of all abilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
Measures We Take
- Keyboard navigation — Core site flows work without a mouse, including a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Screen reader support — Semantic HTML, ARIA labels on key navigation, and descriptive alt text on platform-managed imagery.
- Color contrast — Primary text and interactive controls are designed for readable contrast on dark and light surfaces.
- Responsive layout — Pages reflow on mobile, tablet, and desktop without loss of functionality.
- Form labels — Settings, checkout, and submission forms use visible labels and error messages.
User-Generated Content
Members upload their own photos, ride descriptions, and garage content. While we encourage descriptive captions and alt text, we cannot guarantee accessibility of every member submission.
Known Limitations
- Some third-party embeds and advertiser creatives may not meet our internal standards.
- Legacy imported garage archives may lack complete image descriptions.
- We are continually improving calculator tools and interactive charts for assistive technology.
